SGInnovate Shortlisted for the PR Awards 2020

Tight deadlines, quick turnaround times and crisis management are the daily basis for every PR professional. It can be incredibly stressful and is one of the hardest fields to work in. That's why it's no small feat for those who made it to the shortlist of this year's PR Awards, the region's platform for recognising outstanding work in the PR and communications industry across Southeast Asia, South Asia and ANZ regions. This year saw 30 enterable categories offered to reflect the diverse industry verticals and disciplines across the public relations spectrum.

The most successful agency and brand across the categories will receive the coveted title of PR Awards Champion - Agency and PR Awards Champion - Brand. Last year, Asia PR Werkz brought home the PR Awards Champion - Agency while Grab took top honours as PR Awards Champion - Brand.

Our regional awards are judged by 40 senior client side industry experts from around the region. Judges commented that PR in today’s climate should not only be measured using PR value or eyeballs or likes. A successful measurement would be to understand the company’s business goals & then measure it accordingly against attributed growth by the campaign. They saw a lot of potential and creativity in in-house campaigns this year. Furthermore, the effort in content localisation is a good way to engage the audience, gain competitive advantage and create stronger brand identification.
